A thrilling final day in the Genero Adran South title race is in store as three teams sit level on points at the top of the table.
There was a possibility of league leaders Pontypridd United winning the title on Sunday, but they fell to a 6-2 defeat at Cascade – who are now level on points with the Dragons.
Cascade forward Chrystalla Moreton scored twice in the first half, either side of Erin Parry’s strike, before Ffion Simmonds pulled a goal back for Ponty in stoppage time.
There was to be no second half comeback for the visitors though as Moreton completed her hat-trick on 55 minutes, before setting up Ellis Lunn to add her name to the scoresheet seven minutes later.
Ponty’s woes continued as Lucy Jones missed from the penalty spot, while Olivia Townsend added a sixth goal for Cascade with five minutes remaining. The Dragons were awarded another spot-kick in stoppage time, which this time Madison Williams scored but it was little more than a consolation.
Swansea University complete the three-team shootout on the final day after their 2-0 win away at Penybont.
Both goals arrived in the first half as Hannah Pinney bagged her fifth of the campaign in the 11th minute, before Kayleigh Hateley doubled the advantage just after the half hour mark.
The Swans will host Cascade on the final day, while Pontypridd United – who are currently top on goal difference – are at home against Llanelli Town.
Cwmbran Celtic won for the first time in five league games as they triumphed 3-1 away at Caldicot Town.
All three of Celtic’s goals came inside the first half as sisters Georgina and Alex Cridland scored either side of Lauren Boyd’s first league goal of 2025.
Caldicot improved in the second half and pulled a goal back through Layla Howells, but there was to be no comeback from the home side.
