Genero Adran North round-up | Felinheli stun Connah’s Quay Nomads as Williams bags four

Connah’s Quay Nomads suffered their first Genero Adran North defeat of the season as Ffion Williams scored all four goals in a stunning 4-0 victory for Felinheli at Deeside.

Despite dominating the possession throughout the match, the Nomads rued their missed chances and were punished by four clinical finishes from Williams who captained her side for the afternoon.

Llandudno took advantage of the Nomads’ defeat as they leapfrogged them into top spot with a 4-0 victory away at Rhyl 1879.

Shona Roberts popped up with her first ever Genero Adran North goal for Llandudno in the 37th minute to break the deadlock before the floodgates opened in the second half – Maddie Williams, Sofie Owen and Kelsey Davies all scored within seven minutes of each other to round off a terrific performance from Jordan Hadaway’s side.

16 year-old Becky Jones was the hero for Llanfair United against NFA as her second half goal earned a 1-0 victory – a first league win of the season for Josh Farmer’s side.

The decisive moment of this crucial clash came in the 66th minute when Jones calmly slotted beyond Katie Spruce, lifting Llanfair United off the bottom of the table and up to sixth in the process.

Airbus UK Broughton are now rooted to the foot of the table following their 1-0 defeat away at Bangor.

A second goal of the season for youngster Ella Jones in the 13th minute proved to be enough for all three points as Bangor secured their second win over the Wingmakers in under two months.

Genero Adran North results:

Bangor 1-0 Airbus UK Broughton
Connah’s Quay Nomads 0-4 Felinheli
Llanfair United 1-0 NFA
Rhyl 1879 0-4 Llandudno
