Fflur Williams scored a dramatic stoppage time winner as Felinheli began their Genero Adran North campaign with a 2-1 victory over Berriew at the Berriew Recreation Ground on Sunday.
Felinheli got off to a flying start thanks to one of their longest-serving players Shannon Jade Jones, whose goal in the sixth minute remained the difference for over an hour until Gemma Jones pulled Berriew back on level terms heading into the closing stages.
It seemed both sides would have to settle for a point as the clock ticked into stoppage time, but Williams had other ideas as the Felinheli captain scored in the 91st minute to bag her third goal of the season already and pick up a hard-fought three points.

Llanfair United secured their biggest ever Genero Adran North victory as they stormed to a 14-0 win over Llandudno at Mount Field.
Llanfair astonishingly opened up a three-goal lead after just 12 minutes thanks to goals from Sioned Roberts, Sophie Cook and Emma Williams. Harriet Davies was next to find the net before Williams’ second of the afternoon and Paris Schofield’s penalty ultimately put the result beyond doubt with just over half an hour played.
Williams soon made it a four-goal haul either side of Schofield’s brace-clinching strike as there continued to be no let up from Lucie Gwilt’s side. Davies also doubled up for the afternoon early in the second half before Grace Thomas got in on the act.

The 2025/26 Genero Adran North Player of the Season Tania Wylde came off the bench to join the scoring fun as her two late goals within the space of seven minutes capped off an emphatic win.
Flint Town United also made the perfect start to their new league season as they triumphed 2-0 away to Bangor City 1876 at Nantporth.
Flint forward Laura Williams continued her bright start to the campaign as her fifth goal in three games in all competitions put the Silkwomen ahead midway through the first half.
Williams’ fellow new signing Kelsey Davies found a crucial second goal for the visitors three minutes into the second half to put her new side in control. Flint saw out the remainder of the match to pick up all three points.

Reigning champions Connah’s Quay Nomads and newly-promoted Wrexham Foresters shared the points in a goalless draw at Deeside Stadium.
Connah’s Quay goalkeeper Faye Moseley made two crucial saves in the first half to deny Evie Wigley and Kirstie Kural, while the Nomads then went close on 33 minutes as Renee Day struck the crossbar with her dipping effort from the edge of the area.
Both goalkeepers remained on top form in the second half as Foresters goalkeeper Chloe Ankers did well to deny Rosie Hughes in a one-on-one situation before Moseley pulled off a remarkable diving save to deny Anna Thomas at the back post with 12 minutes remaining. The Nomads remain unbeaten at home in the Genero Adran North since January 2024, while the Foresters sit as the early league leaders on four points having played twice so far.
