Genero Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City concluded Phase One with a 4-0 victory over Aberystwyth Town at Park Avenue.
The Bluebirds took the lead with 17 minutes on the clock as Lisa Owen controlled Mackenzie Olden’s cross at the back post and poked the ball into the bottom corner for her first goal since September 2024.
Olden found the net herself for Cardiff’s second of the afternoon on 55 minutes as she raced onto Shannon Evans’ diagonal ball and headed home at the back post. Laura Curnock gave the visitors an even firmer grip on the contest when she calmly converted from the penalty spot in the 71st minute, following Ffiona Evans’ handball inside the area.
Ffion Price added a stunning fourth goal for Cardiff deep into stoppage-time as her cross-turned-shot flew over Sophie Steele and nestled into the back of the net. Iain Darbyshire’s side have now won their last seven matches in all competitions.

Second-place Wrexham remain just one point behind the Bluebirds after Katie Barker’s hat-trick inspired a comfortable 6-1 win over Barry Town United at Jenner Park.
Barker opened the scoring in the 17th minute after latching onto Faye Knox’s pass, meaning the forward has now scored against all other Genero Adran Premier teams this season. Rosie Hughes doubled the lead 15 minutes later after she forced a mistake in defence from the hosts, rounded Emily Blunt and slotted home.
Jasmine Turner halved the deficit for Barry shortly before half-time, but Hughes produced a fierce volley from inside the area just after the hour mark to restore Wrexham’s two-goal cushion. Knox then added her name to the scoresheet soon after when her low drive squirmed through the hands of Blunt.
Barker also rounded Blunt and tapped into the net before the 25-year-old quickly completed her hat-trick with another sweet strike to give Jenny Sugarman’s side all three points. It is the sixth time this season that the Red Dragons have scored six or more goals in a single game.

The New Saints secured their biggest ever Genero Adran Premier victory with a ruthless 8-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Pontypridd United at USW Sports Park.
Chantelle Teare’s close range finish into the roof of the net and Caitlin Chapman’s curling effort from the edge of the area gave Saints a two-goal lead inside just 21 minutes, before Chapman turned provider for Grace Dunkerley, who fired home at the back post to round off an impressive first half.
Chapman was involved twice more early in the second half as her cross was turned into the net by Lexie Harrison, before the Gibraltar international met Teare’s cutback and tucked away her second of the evening.
Two more close range finishes from Kay Baker followed by Teare’s composed strike into the bottom corner wrapped up a convincing display from Saints, who claimed back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
