Connah’s Quay Nomads moved six points clear at the top of the Genero Adran North with a 4-1 victory over Bangor at Deeside Stadium.
The Nomads wasted no time in Flintshire and took the lead after just nine minutes played as Elana Harley met Phoebe Ellis’ teasing free-kick delivery and volleyed home into the bottom corner.
Bangor captain Ffion Bee turned Ella Jones’ low ball into her own net to give the Nomads a second goal on 16 minutes before Jones found the net herself in the 31st minute by receiving Libby Mackenzie’s through ball and firing beyond Catrin Roberts via the underside of the crossbar for her 18th league goal of the season already.
Hannah Slack continued her breakthrough season for the reigning champions to make it four before half-time as the teenager ran onto Mae Hodgers’ defence-splitting pass and rolled the ball into the bottom corner.
Bangor pulled a goal back just before the hour mark thanks to Cerys Parry, who retrieved a loose ball after Evie Chard went to ground injured and slotted beyond the outrushing Ruby Stevens from outside the area.
The Nomads were denied on numerous occasions by substitute goalkeeper Erin Basinger in the second half, but the first half blitz was enough to see Jordan Parry’s continue their 100% record in the league this season.

Flint Town United earned their first victory since November with a thrilling 3-2 win over Llandudno at the Go Goodwins Stadium.
The Silkwomen were ahead inside just five minutes as Beth Roberts drilled a low effort across goal and into the bottom corner.
Gwen Roberts equalised for Llandudno with her first ever Genero Adran North goal, but Flint scored twice in quick succession just before half-time to take firm control of the contest. Shannon Hobbs chased down Llandudno goalkeeper Meg Robinson and slotted into the net to restore the lead, before Rebecca Eagles produced a diving header from Rosie Hughes’ corner.
Jasmin Dutton halved the deficit for Llandudno with a superb strike from distance early in the second half, but Flint held on to claim all three points and end their five-match winless run.
