Genero Adran South champions Briton Ferry Llansawel made it 12 wins from league 12 games this season as they snatched a late 2-1 victory away Cwmbran Celtic.
Megan Kearle latched onto Lowry Ridings’ defence-splitting pass and rolled the ball home for the opening goal after 25 minutes.
Ferry failed to make the most of their further opportunities and they were punished just after the hour mark as Celtic captain Eloise Meaney calmly converted the leveller from the penalty spot after Ridings’ handball.
However, in the true sign of champions, Ferry dug out three points thanks to the league’s top scorer Alison Witts, who controlled Lowri Baker’s guided pass and fired into the bottom corner with three minutes left on the clock.
