Genero Adran South round-up | Briton Ferry continue perfect start with emphatic win

Genero Adran South leaders Briton Ferry Llansawel continued their free-scoring form this season with a 6-0 win away at Swansea University.

Megan Kearle and Alison Witts both scored twice and there was one goal each for Laura-May Walkley and substitute Lowri Baker as the Reds made it four wins from league games this term. Jessica Goucher was sent off for Swansea Uni.

Second-place Cascade remain level on points with Ferry following a 3-1 home win over Pontardawe Town.

First half goals from Phoebe Ware and Anny Lewis put Cascade in control before Renee Day’s penalty early in the second period got Ponty back in the game, but Lauren Boyd’s finish secured the victory for the hosts.

Newly-promoted dup Llanelli Town and Cwmbran Celtic had to settle for a point each in a 1-1 draw at Stebonheath.

Danni Evans’ first league goal of the season gave the Reds the lead after just nine minutes, but Jade Crofts drew the visitors level shortly after the half hour mark. Celtic held on in the second half despite a red card for goalkeeper Alex Cridland.
