Genero Adran North round-up | Connah’s Quay Nomads defeat title rivals Llandudno

Connah’s Quay Nomads returned to the top of the Genero Adran North table with a 2-0 win against title rivals Llandudno on Sunday.

Both clubs had taken maximum points from their first three league games of the season, but it was the Nomads who maintained their perfect record thanks to a pair of excellent strikes from Phoebe Ellis and Shannon Hobbs.

Felinheli made it two wins from two matches in the Genero Adran North this season by triumphing 4-0 over Airbus UK Broughton.

Catrin Evans and Jody Cain netted inside the opening 10 minutes at Cae Seilo, before Fflur Williams and Ffion Williams got on the scoresheet in the second half.

Llanfair United and Rhyl 1879 had to settle for a point each following a dramatic conclusion to their 1-1 draw at Mount Field.

It was the hosts who opened the scoring through captain Mary Bailey with just five minutes of the game remaining, but Lilywhites top scorer Sade Benjamin provided an 89th minute equaliser.

Genero Adran North results:

Felinheli 4-0 Airbus UK Broughton
Llandudno 0-2 Connah’s Quay Nomads
Llanfair United 1-1 Rhyl 1879
