
Carmarthen Town were victorious on their Genero Adran South debut as they came from behind to triumph 2-1 over Cwmbran Celtic at the LHP Stadium.Â
Celtic went ahead after 19 minutes as summer signing Kaitlin Smith scored for the second consecutive game, but Carmarthen levelled the scoreline on 41 minutes thanks to a clinical strike from Summer Evans.
The hosts’ turnaround was complete deep into first half stoppage time when Flavia Jenkins raced through on goal and made no mistake slotting past Amie Preston when one-on-one with the goalkeeper, which proved enough to secure all three points for the newly-promoted side.
Cardiff Met began life in the Genero Adran South with a narrow 2-1 win over Cascade at Cyncoed Campus.
The Archers found the breakthrough deep into first half stoppage time as Scarlett Davies fired home from the penalty spot. Davies then turned provider for Molly Chapman, who netted against her former club to double the lead on 67 minutes.

A 74th-minute red card for Met substitute Esme Kilburn-Thompson, who had been on the pitch for just seven minutes, swung the momentum in Cascade’s favour and the visitors quickly pulled a goal back through Ellis Lunn. However, Met held on to secure victory.
Caitlin Meadows’ double proved decisive as Pure Swansea triumphed 2-0 over Llanelli Town at Stebonheath.
Llanelli created several opportunities in the first hour of the contest, but Meadows put Pure Swansea ahead on 65 minutes with a superb dipping free-kick past Bethan Ellis via the post.
The Reds pushed for a late equaliser, but conceded a penalty in stoppage time which Meadows converted to seal victory for the visitors.
Newly-promoted Taffs Well suffered defeat on their second tier debut as Penybont earned a 3-1 comeback win at Rhiw Dda’r.
Rianne Jones slotted the hosts in front inside 11 minutes, but 18-year-old Erin Bater equalised for Bont just before the half hour mark.
The visitors eventually made their second half pressure count as Cerys Jones produced a powerful finish into the far corner on 65 minutes, before Freya Grandin scored her first goal in over a year to ensure Leon Williams’ side took home all three points.
