Genero Adran South round-up | Cascade run riot to boost second place hopes

The only match that survived in the Genero Adran South this weekend saw Cascade produce one of their best performances of the season to defeat Caldicot Town 9-0 at the CCB Centre of Excellence.

Quickfire, clinical strikes from Anny Lewis and Elin Parry put Cascade in a comfortable position midway through the first half.

Crystalla Moreton’s header, Lewis’ free-kick and a brace from Ellis Lunn gave Cascade clear daylight heading into the second half.

The goals would not stop there for the home side as Lunn turned provider for Parry, who grabbed her second of the match to make it seven.

Substitutes Sophie Whittle and Abbie Davies got in on the act in the final ten minutes as Cascade recorded their biggest ever victory in the Genero Adran South.

The result saw Cascade open up a five-point gap in second place as Cwmbran Celtic’s clash with champions Briton Ferry Llansawel was postponed.
