The only match in the Genero Adran South on Sunday afternoon saw Cwmbran Celtic move level on points with league leaders Pontypridd United as Jade Crofts’ strike secured a narrow 1-0 win away to Swansea University.
Crofts opened the scoring on 33 minutes for her fourth league goal of the season already, and her finish proved to be decisive as Celtic saw out the final hour of play to earn a return to winning ways.
Celtic trail Pontypridd at the top of the table on goal difference, but the Dragons do now have a game in hand.
It was a first league defeat on home turf in just over a year for Swansea Uni, and they remain in third place on three points.
