Genero Adran South round-up | Pontardawe Town hit five to secure first league win of the season

Pontardawe earned their first Genero Adran South win of the season in style by triumphing 5-0 away at Coed Duon on Sunday afternoon. 

Renee Day continued her impressive start to the season by scoring twice, while Catryn Cook, Keira Harris and Sara Llewelyn also found the net as Ponty climbed to sixth in the table. 

Cascade went level on points with league leaders Briton Ferry Llansawel following a 2-1 away win at Cwmbran Celtic. 

Molly Chapman broke the deadlock after just eight minutes before Fiona Anthony equalised just before the hour mark, but Chapman scored her second of the game in the 74th minute to secure the three points for Cascade. 

Caldicot Town claimed their first point of the campaign in a 0-0 draw with Swansea University at Jubilee Way. 

The result lifted Kellan Webb’s team off the bottom of the table, while Swansea Uni slip to third but remain unbeaten after four league games.
