Two more Genero Adran Premier fixtures have been selected for live Sgorio coverage by S4C, the league’s official broadcast partner.
On Sunday 1 October, Cardiff Met’s fixture against Swansea City at Cyncoed Campus will be shown live on Sgorio’s online platforms – with kick-off moving to 5:10pm.
The two clubs are the most successful in the history of the women’s top-flight in Wales, winning six league titles each, and finished third and second respectively last season. Robyn Pinder, Sophie Brisland-Hancocks and Steph Turner have all made the move from the Archers to the Swans this summer.
A week later on Sunday 8 October, the clash between Wrexham and Cardiff City at The Rock will be shown live on S4C – also at 5:10pm.
Steve Dale’s side are eagerly awaiting their first season in the Genero Adran Premier following promotion from the Genero Adran North, while the Bluebirds are fresh from UEFA Women’s Champions League action after their invincible title-winning campaign in 2022/23.
S4C has pledged to more than double its number of live broadcasts of women’s football this season, beginning with the Genero Adran Premier opening weekend clash between Wrexham v Swansea City this Sunday (KO 5:45pm).
