Wrexham win Genero Adran North U19

Wrexham reclaimed the Genero Adran North U19 title on Friday night with 5-0 home win over Connah’s Quay Nomads on the final day of the season.

The Red Dragons won the division in 2021/22 and 2022/23 before losing out to the Nomads last season, but are now back on top after a stellar campaign.

Wrexham won 10 of their 12 league matches, scoring 37 goals and conceding a league-low eight, with Friday night’s victory ensuring that they pipped second-place The New Saints to the title by two points.

Grace Morris – who made her Genero Adran Premier debut in November – scored two on Friday to claim the division’s golden boot with 11 goals, while Leah Burke and Seren Burke were key creators with five assists each.

Wrexham will now compete against Genero Adran South U19 champions Cardiff City for the Under-19 national title at Latham Park on Sunday 20 April (KO 16:30).
