Danny Warren scored a hat-trick as JD Cymru North leaders Airbus UK Broughton earned an emphatic 7-1 win away at Bangor 1876 on Friday night.
It was a 10th consecutive league victory for the Wingmakers, who took the lead with just 11 seconds on the clock as Warren slotted home from James Davies’ cross.
Bangor got themselves back on level terms midway through the first half thanks to Corrig McGonigle’s close-range finish, but Warren restored Airbus’ lead on the stroke of half-time after rounding Carl Jones and tapping into an empty net.
The floodgates opened after the break, with George Peers and Josh Stevenson both producing sweet strikes from the edge of the area to make it 4-1 before the hour mark.
Warren completed his hat-trick on 62 minutes with another clinical finish, before Jordan Evans got in on the act four minutes later with a powerful shot from 20 yards out. There was a 20-minute reprieve for Bangor, but Evans rounded off the scoring late on when he capitalised on a defensive mistake to grab his second of the game.
Airbus remain four points clear of second-place Colwyn Bay, who scored three goals in the opening 14 minutes to overcome Buckley Town 3-0 at the Four Crosses Construction Arena on Friday night.
Craig Lindfield gave Bay the lead inside just four minutes as he smartly guided the ball into the bottom corner from Joe Williams’ inviting cross.

Lindfield’s strike partner Jamie Cumming soon made it two as he headed home from Sam Hart’s corner for his sixth league goal of the season, while Lindfield would grab his second goal of the evening four minutes later as he rose above Buckley goalkeeper Ryan Goldston to head home from Hart’s looping cross.
Buckley were offered a potential route back into the game when Seagulls midfielder Cai Owen received a straight red card for an altercation with Adam Smith in first half stoppage time.
The visitors did manage to pull one goal back as Brad Knight found the net just after the hour mark, but there was to be no comeback as Bay side earned a 15th straight league win.
Reigning champions Holywell Town saw their seven-match unbeaten streak come to an end as Caersws emerged 2-0 victors over Johnny Haseldin’s side on Saturday afternoon.
Sam Phillips fired the Bluebirds ahead in the 32nd minute with a calmly converted penalty after Tommy Rowlands was fouled inside the area. Rowlands’ debut for the hosts got even better in the second half as he doubled the lead with a neat finish past Shaun Pearson.
Jake Cooke nearly pulled a goal back for the Wellmen just moments after Rowlands’ strike, but Caersws goalkeeper Max Williams ensured he kept his clean sheet intact with a fine save.
The win for Caersws ended a run of four straight losses, and Luke Williams’ side are now three points clear of the bottom three.
Geoff Kellaway bagged a hat-trick as Penrhyncoch beat Prestatyn Town 4-2 at Cae Baker on Saturday to inflict another damning defeat on the Seasiders and their survival task.
Kellaway broke the deadlock for the Roosters in the 40th minute, providing the finishing touch from a neat team move. However, the lead would only last five minutes as Zebb Edwards equalised for Prestatyn on the stroke of half-time with a header at the back post from Alex Jones’ cross.
Tom Weir’s stunning strike from the edge of the area saw Prestatyn take the lead for the first time in the match seven minutes into the second half, but two goals in the space of a minute from Kellaway turned the tables once more as the veteran forward completed his treble.
Dan Owen made sure of the victory – Penrhyncoch’s first in four league games – in the 79th minute as he headed home from Niall Coleridge’s corner.
Flint Mountain were the biggest winners of the weekend as they emphatically triumphed 7-0 away at Gresford Athletic.
Mike Hayes gave Mountain a dream start after just eight minutes when he was left unmarked from Jack Sconce’s free-kick and finished from close range. Sconce found the net himself in the 20th minute as he picked out the top corner with a stunning strike from distance.
Rocco Hewitt had not previously scored for Mountain after joining the club last summer, but he netted twice in the space of four minutes to make it 4-0 before half-time.
Sconce added his second of the game in the 71st minute by capitalising on a mistake from Gresford goalkeeper Lewis Dutton, before defender Sam Rockall and substitute Luke Johnston both scored from close range in the closing stages to round off a memorable night for Aden Shannon’s side.
Gresford are now just one point above the relegation zone after Ruthin Town claimed their first victory since October by winning 3-0 at home against Mold Alexandra on Friday.
Josh Evans marked his first league start since August with a goal to put Ruthin ahead in the ninth minute, before Morris quickly made it two with a neat finish.
Morris wrapped up all three points for the hosts with his second of the night in the 87th minute, earning Dave Evans’ side a huge boost in the relegation battle.
Llandudno staged a second half comeback to win 3-1 at Llay Miners Welfare on Saturday – their third successive win away from home.

Llay held a narrow lead at the break thanks to Scott Swords’ goal in the 36th minute, but Llandudno stepped up a gear in the second half as Mark Cadwallader levelled the scoreline just six minutes after the restart.
Harvey Bennett missed the chance to complete a quick turnaround for the away side as he failed to convert from the penalty spot four minutes later, but a second for the Seasiders did arrive in the 71st minute when Mikey Davies scored his first league goal for the club.
Llandudno boss Jordan Hadaway was sent off with 10 minutes remaining for a second bookable offence, but his side made sure of victory late on as Adam Stephens bagged his fourth goal in as many games.
Denbigh Town secured a first home win since October as Alfie Vaughan’s late strike saw the Reds triumph 3-2 against Guilsfield on Saturday.
It was a frantic first half at Central Park, with Vaughan opening the scoring after just six minutes before Jamie Hyne equalised for the Guils with his 10th goal of the season.
Hyne’s fellow striker Iwan Matthews completed a quickfire turnaround for the visitors, but Ben Lockley made it two apiece with an accurately placed header shortly before half-time.
The second half provided less action in front of goal, but the decisive moment came in the 87th minute courtesy of Vaughan, who headed home from Lockley’s inviting delivery to earn all three points for Denbigh.
