JD Cymru North leaders Airbus UK Broughton bounced back from their defeat to Colwyn Bay last weekend by claiming a thrilling 7-3 home win over Prestatyn Town on Friday night.
Danny Warren put Airbus ahead from the penalty spot after just eight minutes, but a stunning strike from Zebb Edwards instantly brought Prestatyn level.
Airbus thought they had taken control of the match when Jordan Evans and Jake Eyre scored within five minutes of each other to make it 3-1, but the Seasiders dramatically clawed back once more to go in level at half-time thanks to goals from Tom Weir and Greg Hall.
The Wingmakers were back in front just after the hour mark as James Davies found the net only four minutes after coming off the bench, before Danny Warren grabbed his second of the night moments later.
Victory was wrapped up in the closing stages as substitutes Harry Jones and Sam Baker both scored close-range headers to make it seven.
It proved to be Chris Morrell’s last game in charge of Prestatyn, as he announced his resignation as manager on Sunday.
Second-place Colwyn Bay made it six consecutive league wins with a 5-0 victory away to Gresford Athletic on Saturday.
Quick-fire goals from Sol Forde and Josh Carey put the Seagulls in control after 36 minutes, while Dan Atkins found the net for the third time in four games to make it 3-0 just after the hour mark.
Gwion Dafydd came off the bench in the 64th minute and scored from the penalty spot only a minute later, before adding a second goal in stoppage time as he beautifully curled into the far corner.
Caersws earned a first league win since August as they triumphed 5-3 in a thrilling encounter against Powys neighbours Guilsfield at the Recreation Ground on Saturday.
Craig Harris struck twice in the opening 13 minutes to give Caersws a perfect start, before Guils striker Jamie Hyne scored against his former club to half the deficit in the 25th minute.
The visitors were rewarded for their early pressure in the second-half as Jake Cook grabbed an equaliser just after the hour mark, but Sam Phillips restored Caersws’ lead before he set up Ash Harries who added a fourth.
Iwan Matthews gave Guilsfield a glimmer of hope by pulling a goal back in the 85th minute, but Bluebirds substitute Max McLaughlin popped up in the fourth minute of stoppage time to clinch victory for his side.
Holywell Town made a return to winning ways as they triumphed 3-1 at home against Llandudno on Friday night to move up to third place.
Tom Bibby’s first goal in over a year gave Holywell the lead inside just six minutes and Jamie Breese doubled the advantage shortly before half-time as he latched onto Danny Andrews’ through ball and calmly slotted beyond Mike Jones.
The Wellmen found a third goal just two minutes into the second half as Breese turned provider for Jake Cooke, who produced a clinical finish.
Substitute Omar Ibrahim bagged his first goal for Llandudno to reduce the deficit in the 65th minute, but his strike only proved to be a consolation as Johnny Haseldin’s side picked up all three points.
Teenager Zac Davies scored a stoppage time winner to give Penrhyncoch a dramatic 3-2 victory over Bangor 1876 at Cae Baker on Saturday.
Cameron Allen set up Dan Owen inside just two minutes to give the Roosters an early breakthrough, but Bangor talisman Corrig McGonigle equalised eight minutes before the break.
The hosts edged back in front as Allen calmly dispatched a penalty on 52 minutes, but the hosts were pegged back once more as Iolo Hughes scored his first goal of the season with a looping header just after the hour mark.
It was late heartbreak for Bangor as they fell behind for the third time in the match as Davies popped up in the second minute of stoppage time to snatch an impressive win.
Flint Mountain earned back-to-back wins for the first time this season as Mike Hayes’ brace inspired them to a 4-2 victory at home to Llay Miners Welfare.
Hayes scored twice in the space of three minutes to put his side 2-0 up after 20 minutes, a lead which they held until midway through the second half when Max Peate and Bisensio Kamilo both netted from corners within six minutes of each other to claw Welfare back level.
However, Mountain dramatically restored their lead in the 90th minute courtesy of a header from substitute Jack Parry and the teenager sealed victory in the sixth minute of stoppage time with a calmly converted penalty after Ben Richards was fouled in the area.
Buckley Town kept their first clean sheet since August as they snatched a late 1-0 win away to Ruthin Town on Saturday.
The decisive moment arrived in the 81st minute as good work from substitute Max Moore saw him to lay the ball off to Connor Littler, who fired home from the edge of the area to earn the Bucks victory.
Aidan Farren’s stoppage time goal rescued a point for Mold Alexandra in a 1-1 draw with Denbigh Town at Central Park on Friday.
Denbigh forward Owen Davies continued his fine form as he headed home from Keelan Williams’ cross to put his side ahead in the 35th minute, which looked to have earned all three points for the hosts until Mold substitute Farren prodded in a crucial equaliser in the 94th minute.
