Tom Creamer scored a 96th-minute winner for Colwyn Bay as the Seagulls triumphed 2-1 away at Buckley Town on Monday.
It was a dramatic final 10 minutes at The Globe, as Bucks defender Callum Humphries was sent off in the 83rdminute before Rhys Nash opened the scoring for the Bay a minute later.
The hosts thought they had rescued a point when Danny Holland converted from the penalty spot with one minute of the 90 remaining, but Creamer popped up with a superb strike deep into stoppage time to snatch victory for the Seagulls and condemn Buckley to their first league defeat of the season. Michael Wilde’s men are up to fourth in the table and unbeaten in their last five matches.
League leaders Airbus UK Broughton made it six wins from six games in the JD Cymru North this season with a comfortable 3-0 victory away at Gresford Athletic, taking them six points clear at the top of the table.
Teenager Sam Baker scored for the second consecutive match to break the deadlock on 18 minutes, before Joe Palmer’s header doubled the Wingmakers’ advantage before the half hour mark.
The third goal arrived in the 59th minute as Danny Warren fired home from Baker’s cross for his seventh league goal of the season already.
Reigning champions Holywell Town moved up to second place with a 3-1 comeback victory at home against Caersws.
The Wellmen were left stunned when Josh Astley put Caersws in front after 18 minutes, but goals late in the first half from Jamie Breese and Morgan Murray turned the contest around.
The win was wrapped up in the 84th minute when Gareth Evans smashed the ball beyond Steffan Jones in the midst of a goalmouth scramble.
Damase Kiwanda marked his first start for Mold Alexandra in style as his five-goal haul helped secure an emphatic 7-0 win over Prestatyn Town.
Kiwanda netted two clinical finishes in the opening nine minutes as Mold instantly took charge of the match, before completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 17th minute.
Prestatyn captain James Stead picked up his second yellow card amid the penalty furore and the Seasiders’ day got even worse before half-time as Henry Nash added a fourth goal by tapping home from Matty Lewis’ cross.
Farren made it five in the 67th minute by scoring the rebound from Kiwanda’s initial attempt, before the Ugandan winger scored twice more in the final 20 minutes to complete an impressive afternoon.
Penrhyncoch made it back-to-back wins over the bank holiday weekend by triumphing 4-2 over Denbigh Town at Cae Baker.
The Roosters wasted no time to find the breakthrough as summer signing Ifan Burnell netted his first goal for the club in the fourth minute, before Dion Phillips’ strike and an own goal from Ben Lockley put them firmly in control at the break.
Nathan Brown, who had scored a hat-trick against Gresford Athletic three days previously, bagged a brace to give Denbigh a lifeline with 23 minutes remaining, but Penrhyncoch striker Cameron Allen clinched the three points for his side in the 86th minute.
Mason Blackwell-Jones continued his impressive recent form as he scored twice in Bangor 1876’s 3-0 home win over Llay Miners Welfare.
Blackwell-Jones opened the scoring with a neat finish from Corrig McGonigle’s through ball in the 17th minute before Harry Galeotti doubled the lead on 36 minutes by netting the rebound from Tom Mahoney’s initially saved effort.
The game was wrapped up in first half stoppage time as Blackwell-Jones caught Llay goalkeeper Mike Jones off his line and looped a volley over him. Bangor are now up to third in the table.
Joe Haycock starred as Guilsfield picked up their third successive victory with a 3-1 triumph against Ruthin Town.
Haycock gave the Guils a two-goal advantage on the hour mark with his fifth and sixth goals of the season. Ruthin halved the deficit through Gwion Owen’s penalty, but Haycock turned provider three minutes later for Callum Bromley who secured the win for his side.
