Dylan Proctor scored a stoppage time winner as Llandudno staged a stunning comeback to secure a 3-2 victory away at Buckley Town in the JD Cymru North on Friday night.

After a goalless first half, Buckley scored twice in the opening 20 minutes of the second period as Luke Mariette flicked the ball home from Adam Boydell’s corner before Brad Knight netted his fifth goal in his last five league games.

However, the turning point of the contest came in the 72nd minute when Bucks defender was sent off for a second bookable offence. Adam Stephens pulled a goal back for Llandudno three minutes later, then found an equaliser in the 89th minute.

Stephens turned provider for substitute Proctor to score a dramatic winner in the second minute of stoppage time, as Llandudno made it seven straight league victories. Jordan Hadaway’s side remain third in the table, one point behind the top two with a game in hand.

League leaders Airbus UK Broughton earned their biggest win of the season with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Rhyl 1879 at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on Friday.

The Wingmakers found the breakthrough with 18 minutes on the clock as Kaiden Cooke raced onto Josh Stevenson’s long ball and sent a powerful finish into the bottom corner, while another Stevenson long ball set up James Davies to slot past Alex Swindell three minutes before half-time.

Airbus came racing out of the blocks after the break, scoring three more goals before the hour mark. Cooke produced a stunning strike from distance to beat Swindell via the underside of the crossbar, Davies also completed his brace with a clinical finish inside the area and Stevenson added his name to the scoresheet with a bullet header from Jordan Evans’ corner.

Substitute Danny Warren completed the scoring in stoppage time by steering the ball home from Tyler McManus’ delivery, as Rhyl were condemned to a third straight league defeat.

Second-place Holywell Town remain level on points with Airbus after Craig Lindfield’s brace earned a 2-1 comeback win over Mold Alexandra at Alyn Park on Saturday.

Owen Cordiner tucked away the rebound after his initial effort was saved to put Mold ahead in the 64th minute, but Holywell were level five minutes later as Lindfield finished powerfully from a tight angle.

Lindfield completed the turnaround just two minutes later as his effort took a deflection and found a way past Joe Smith.

Flint Mountain earned just a second win of the season – and first away from home – as they triumphed 4-1 at bottom-of-the-table Penrhyncoch.

The match was goalless after 40 minutes, but Kieran Owens, Sam John and Owen Cassidy remarkably all found the net in the space of five minutes to shell shock Penrhyncoch and earn a 3-0 lead at the break for Mountain.

Owens grabbed his second of the afternoon on 68 minutes to make sure of victory, but the visitors were denied a clean sheet as Dion Phillips bagged a late consolation for the Roosters.

Denbigh Town came from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Ruthin Town in the Vale of Clwyd derby at Central Park on Friday night.

Harry Martin’s sweet strike from the edge of the area and Llyr Morris’ close range finish saw Ruthin earn a two-goal lead at half time.

However, Denbigh hit back and rescued a point late on as Gwion Dafydd steered home at the near post from Ben Lockley’s cross in the 73rd minute before the former TNS man turned provider by squaring the ball for Brown to equalise in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Nathan Brown’s stoppage time goal rescued a point for Denbigh Town against rivals Ruthin Town

Newtown continued their perfect home record in the JD Cymru North this season as Devon Torry’s strike secured a 1-0 win over Holyhead Hotspur at Latham Park on Saturday.

The decisive moment arrived six minutes into the second half as Torry rounded Holyhead goalkeeper Guto Hughes and slotted home his fourth league goal of the campaign. The visitors’ hopes of a comeback were dashed when Callum Graves received a straight red card for his foul on Aidan McCann.

Neighbours Brickfield Rangers and Gresford Athletic both halted their three-match losing runs as they shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Clywedog Park.

Paul Johnson’s finish amid a goalmouth scramble earned Gresford the advantage after just 11 minutes, a lead they held until six minutes from time when Brickfield found an equaliser through substitute Andy Vale.

Nothing could separate Caersws and 10-man Guilsfield as they played out a goalless stalemate on Saturday.

Sam Flory had a glorious chance to put Guilsfield ahead when he raced onto Spencer Parrish’s cross, but the forward could only guide the ball over the bar from inside the six-yard box.

Guils defender Adam Knott was sent off in first half stoppage time for a second bookable offence, but two crucial late saves from Luke Evans kept his clean sheet intact as Gavin Allen’s side stretched their unbeaten league run to five matches.
