A late brace from Cameron Allen saw Penrhyncoch complete a stunning 2-1 comeback win away at Mold Alexandra on Saturday afternoon.
Fabrizio Murtas’ thumping finish put Mold ahead in the 24th minute, which for most of the match looked to be enough to earn the hosts all three points.
However, a costly foul inside the area allowed Allen to step up from the penalty spot and fire home an equaliser in the 90th minute, before the teenager netted again in the eighth minute of stoppage time to earn only a second away league win of the season for Penrhyncoch.
There were also stoppage time drama at Clos Mytton, where Sean Jones’ 97th-minute winner earned Guilsfield a thrilling 4-3 win over Denbigh Town on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts had earlier squandered a 2-0 lead as goals from James Smallwood and Jamie Hyne were cancelled out by Owen Davies and Sam Duffy by half-time, before Davies put Denbigh in front for the first time just two minutes into the second half when he sent a thunderous shot past Luke Evans.
However, Hyne got his second of the afternoon to equalise for Guilsfield in the 66th minute, before Jones – making only his second start since returning to the club – got an all-important touch on long throw into the area deep into stoppage time.
It was a first league win in over two months for Guilsfield, as Denbigh’s four-match unbeaten run in the JD Cymru North came to an end.
Caersws earned their biggest ever win in the JD Cymru North as they thrashed struggling Prestatyn Town 8-0 at home on Saturday afternoon.
George Mitten’s header put the Bluebirds in front inside just four minutes, while Josh Astley doubled the lead in bizarre fashion in the 15th minute as he blocked a clearance from Prestatyn goalkeeper Robbie Williams and the ball trickled into the net.
Astley grabbed his second of the afternoon on the half hour mark, while Craig Harris made it 4-0 early in the second half. Prestatyn’s woes increased when James Stead was shown a straight red card soon after.
Callum Francis-Jones came off the bench and scored his first league goal of the season four minutes later, before Astley completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the 84th minute after Max McLaughlin was fouled inside the area.
Substitute McLaughlin was again involved as Caersws scored twice more late on, first sending in a delivery for Astley to bag his fourth of the afternoon before he put in another cross which was turned in for an own goal by Connor Whelan. The Bluebirds’ big win – and third consecutive clean sheet – takes them up to sixth in the table.
League leaders Airbus UK Broughton continued their perfect record at home this with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Bangor 1876 on Friday night.
The deadlock was broken after just three minutes as Jordan Evans slotted home from close range, which remained the difference between the two sides until moments before half-time when Bangor captain Tom Clarke fouled Kaiden Cooke in the box. Clarke was shown a straight red card and Danny Warren converted the resulting penalty.
Warren made way for Oli Lanceley at half-time and his replacement took just 10 minutes to get on the scoresheet as he calmly converted another penalty.
The pick of the goals then came in the 74th minute from Kieran Evans, who unleashed a powerful strike into the top corner from 25 yards out. Dale Davies pulled a goal back for the visitors late on, but it was only consolation.
Second-place Colwyn Bay made it nine consecutive wins in the JD Cymru North as they came from behind to beat Flint Mountain 2-1 at the Four Crosses Construction Arena on Friday.
Jack Parry stunned the hosts when he slotted Mountain into the lead after just two minutes, but Bay took just seven minutes to get back on level terms as Will McKinley set up Craig Lindfield to round off a well-worked team move.
The turnaround was complete eight minutes later when Jamie Cumming rose highest to head home from Sam Hart’s corner.
Buckley Town moved up to fourth in the table as Liam Driscoll’s hat-trick earned a 3-0 win at home to Llay Miners Welfare on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, Driscoll opened the scoring just two minutes after the break with a composed finish past Mike Platt. He added a second with a deft lob shortly after the hour mark, before completing his treble by poking beyond Platt on 70 minutes.
Holywell Town climbed up to third place with a 5-1 comeback victory at home against Ruthin Town on Saturday afternoon.
It was a nightmare start for the Wellmen as Gwion Owen’s penalty put Ruthin in front inside just nine minutes. However, Danny Andrews headed home from Jamie Breese’s cross to make it one apiece just before the half hour mark.
Three goals in six minutes for Holywell after the hour mark – two from Jamie Breese and one from Danny Sullivan – put Johnny Haseldin’s side firmly in control and Andrews wrapped up the win in the 75th minute when his cross deceived a number of bodies and flew all the way into the net.
Mark Cadwallader bagged a hat-trick as Llandudno moved out of the relegation zone with a 5-2 victory over Gresford Athletic on Friday night.
Dudno equalised on two occasions in an entertaining first half, as Adam Stephens’ stunning strike cancelled out Toby Gallagher-Keenan’s opener before Charley Edge restored Gresford’s lead from the penalty spot only for Cadwallader to pop up with another leveller for the hosts shortly before the break.
An improved second half performance was much-needed for the Seasiders, and that is exactly what they produced as Cadwallader made it 3-2 just eight minutes after the restart.
Alex Boss got his name on the scoresheet by firing home the rebound from Stephens’ initially saved effort in the 80th minute, before Cadwallader rounded off the win by completing his hat-trick with another powerful header in the closing stages.
