The New Saints win Cymru Premier Development League national final

The New Saints claimed the Cymru Premier Development League national title after triumphing 4-1 over Haverfordwest County at Latham Park.

The young Saints stormed to the Cymru Premier Development League North title by winning all 24 of their matches and scoring 138 goals, and they swept the Bluebirds aside to conclude a stunning season.

Dan Tilsley opened the scoring after 16 minutes, but Fletcher Picton equalised for Haverfordwest seven minutes later and the two sides went in level at the break.

TNS went back in front just before the hour mark as Tyler Roberts found the net, while Louis Crofts doubled their advantage seven minutes later.

The win and the trophy was wrapped up soon after as Tom Jones, who started on the bench in the JD Welsh Cup final a week earlier, got on the scoresheet.
