Genero Adran Leagues support Show Racism the Red Card Month of Action 2026

Fixtures across the Genero Adran Leagues this Sunday (October 25) will be dedicated to Show Racism the Red Card.

The Genero Adran Leagues are proud to support Show Racism the Red Card’s Month of Action 2026, bringing together clubs, players, coaches, officials and supporters from across the women’s game to stand united against racism and discrimination.

Throughout October, the campaign highlights the importance of education, awareness and collective action in challenging racism both on and off the pitch. As Show Racism the Red Card marks its 40th year as an organisation, this year’s Month of Action provides an opportunity to recognise the impact of its work while reaffirming the importance of continuing to challenge prejudice and promote inclusion.

Football has a powerful role to play in bringing communities together, changing attitudes and creating positive change. Through the Month of Action, clubs across Wales will help reinforce the message that racism has no place in football or wider society.

Players, clubs, match officials and supporters will use the dedicated weekend to demonstrate their commitment to equality, respect and inclusion throughout the game. By standing together, the leagues will help raise awareness of racism and encourage everyone involved in football to play their part in challenging discrimination.

The campaign also provides an opportunity to celebrate the positive influence of football, inspiring players and supporters while helping to create an environment in which everyone feels safe, welcome and respected.

Despite the progress made through education and campaigning, racism continues to affect football and communities across Wales. Tackling it requires a collective commitment from players, coaches, supporters, parents, guardians, volunteers, match officials, clubs and governing bodies.

The Genero Adran Leagues are proud to stand alongside the Football Association of Wales and Show Racism the Red Card in supporting efforts to challenge racism and build a more inclusive game.

As the organisation marks its 40th year, the Month of Action is a reminder that education and awareness remain essential in tackling prejudice, changing attitudes and empowering people to speak out against racism.

By continuing to work together throughout October and across the 2026/27 season, the Welsh football family can help create a game where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

If you see or hear racism at any level of football, please report it to the nearest steward or Club official. You can also report an incident through the FAW’s Report It platform or by emailing ReportIT@faw.co.uk.
