Barry Town United were crowned Genero Adran U19 national champions with a 4-0 win over Connah’s Quay Nomads at Latham Park on Sunday.
Megan-Ruby Clarke starred with a hat-trick as the Genero Adran South U19 title winners swept aside their Northern counterparts.
The opening goal came on the stroke of half-time as top scorer Scarlett Davies headed home from Lucy Coles’ cross, before Clarke’s treble took the game away from the Nomads after the break.
All three of her goals were near-carbon copies of each other as each time Clarke was found in space on the right hand side before she found the net.
Her first two were composed strikes past Molly France, while she completed her hat-trick in stoppage time by calmly taking the ball around the Nomads goalkeeper to finish into the empty net.
All that was left to do was for captain Amelia Herbert to lift the trophy, concluding a stellar campaign for Barry.
