Genero Adran North round-up | Clean sheet win sees NFA climb to fourth place

NFA’s resurgence in the Genero Adran North continued with a narrow 1-0 victory over Bangor at Ffordd Derwen Playing Fields.

The decisive moment came on the half hour mark as striker Mel Peake turned home youngster Megan Pursell’s assist for her second goal in her last three league matches.

It was enough for Niall McGuinness’ side to complete a league double over their opponents, who they defeated 4-0 away from home last month.

It was a third victory in four matches for NFA, which sees them climb up to fourth place in the Genero Adran North table.
