Genero Adran North round-up | Connah’s Quay Nomads complete perfect league season

Connah’s Quay Nomads completed a perfect season in the Genero Adran North with a 3-1 home win over Felinheli on Sunday.

The Nomads missed some glorious opportunities in the opening stages of the contest, but eventually found the breakthrough in the 22nd minute thanks to Natasha Spearing, who fired home the rebound from Ella Jones’ saved effort.

Jordan Parry’s side took firm control of the game with two goals in the space of a minute shortly before half-time, with Aimee Redfern heading in from Phoebe Ellis corner before Jones netted from close range.

Fflur Williams produced a looping half volley to get Felinheli on the scoresheet in first half stoppage time, but a goalless second half ensured that the Nomads made it 14 wins from 14 league games this season.

Kelsey Davies scored four goals as Llandudno confirmed a fourth-place finish with a thumping 6-1 home win over Rhyl 1879.

It was a frantic start at the Go Goodwins Stadium as Davies bagged a brace inside the first six minutes of the game, shortly before Rhyl pulled a goal back through Chelsea Evans. Davies completed her hat-trick in the 25th minute, while Rebecca Jarvis-Evans added her name to the scoresheet in first half stoppage time.

Davies would grab her fourth of the afternoon early in the second half – to finish the campaign on 14 league goals – before Maddie Williams, who already had four assists to her name, completed an impressive display from the Seasiders with a goal of her own.

Second-place Llanfair United rounded off an impressive campaign with a 3-0 win away at already-relegated NFA.

Emma Williams scored for a second away game in a row to put Llanfair in front midway through the first half, before she set up Harriet Davies to double the lead eight minutes after the break.

Davies made sure of the victory with her second and Llanfair’s third in the 71st minute, as she finished the season on 14 league goals.

Flint Town United finished their first season in the Genero Adran North with a 3-0 win over Bangor at the Essity Stadium.

The Silkwomen made a rapid start to the contest as top scorer Zoe Stopford scored from the penalty spot inside the opening two minutes, but they did not double their lead until just before the hour mark when Rosie Hughes found the net.

The 19-year-old made it a brace for herself 10 minutes later, as Flint confirmed a fifth-place finish.
