Pontypridd United were crowned Genero Adran South champions following a 4-0 victory over Llanelli Town at USW Sports Park on Sunday.
The Dragons started the final day level on points with title rivals Swansea University and Cascade but with a better goal difference, so knew that a big win would seal top spot.
They therefore wasted no time and took the lead in the eighth minute as Quianna Wheeler slotted home, before Mia Sherrard tucked away from close range to make it 2-0 at half-time.
Genero Adran South top scorer Nicole Fenton raced into the area and calmly finished past Celyn Barnett to extend Ponty’s advantage five minutes into the second half, before she grabbed her second of the afternoon in the 72nd minute.

In the end, a draw would have been enough for Ponty to win the title as Swansea University and Cascade played out a 1-1 draw.
Ellis Lunn’s 22nd-minute goal looked to have put Cascade on course for all three points, but the Swans levelled the contest in second half stoppage time through Annabel Stokes’ fifth goal of the season.
Penybont secured a fourth-place finish in their debut season in the Genero Adran South as they triumphed 1-0 away at Cwmbran Celtic.
The decisive moment came after just nine minutes as teenager Casey Daniels fired home, with her goal enough to make it three wins in Bont’s last four away games as they leapfrogged Celtic in the table.
