Felinheli closed the gap to Genero Adran North leaders Llandudno to just three points after a first half blitz secured a 4-1 win over Rhyl 1879 at Belle Vue.
Jordanne Greenough’s deadly finish in the 13th minute opened the scoring for the visitors, while Catrin Evans scored from the penalty spot before turning provider for Hana Wellings to make it 3-0 at the break.
Evans scored her second of the match just after the hour mark, cutting inside onto her left foot and finding the back of the net to make it four for Felinheli.
Veteran striker Laura Williams pulled a goal back for Rhyl with a superb long range effort on 76 minutes, but Felinheli saw out the game to secure a sixth league win in a row.
Polly Wild-McGregor and Sophie Rawling scored four goals each and Kirstie Kural bagged a hat-trick as third-place Connah’s Quay Nomads produced a rampant display to defeat Llanfair United 14-0.
Kylie Jones netted her first league goal of the season as Jordan Parry’s side went ahead inside four minutes, and the floodgates opened from then on.
Wild-McGregor and Kural scored their first goals of the afternoon to make it three before Rawling and Alisha Whitehead-Hughes bagged their first senior goals for the club to add a fourth and fifth.
Wild-McGregor got her second of the match before the break and just one minute after Kural made it seven, she completed her hat-trick with another composed finish, which was followed by another goal from Rawling.
Things went from bad to worse for Llanfair as Harriet Davies was sent off for two yellow cards in quick succession, which allowed Wild-McGregor to score her fourth and Rawling to clinch her hat-trick.
Anais Bathily got in on the act to make it 12, Rawling joined Wild-McGregor with four goals to her name and Kural scored her second hat-trick in three games since returning to club to round off an emphatic performance from the Nomads, who moved six points behind leaders Llandudno.
