Genero Adran South round-up | Cascade stage comeback to earn consecutive league wins

Cascade staged an impressive comeback from two goals down to triumph 3-2 away at Caldicot Town in the Genero Adran South.

Goals from Jade Crofts and Lucy McDonough put Caldicot 2-0 up after just 21 minutes, but quick-fire finishes from Lauren Boyd and Molly Chapman had drawn Cascade level by half-time. Phoebe Ware was then the hero for the visitors as she came off the bench to score the winner.

Briton Ferry Llansawel continued their emphatic start to the campaign with a 6-0 home win over newly-promoted Cwmbran Celtic.

Ela Roberts, Georgia Howells and Alison Witts all scored in the first half, before Mollie Jones added a second half brace and player of the match Fleur Jenkins got in on the act too.

Swansea University scored a 93rd-minute goal for the second league game in a row to earn a 2-2 draw away at Pontardawe Town.

Swansea captain Katie Horsburgh opened the scoring in the 38th minute, but Ponty turned the game around through a Renee Day brace and appeared to be heading for three points before Jessica Goucher equalised in stoppage time.

Newly-promoted duo Coed Duon and Llanelli Town both earned their first point in the Genero Adran South in a 1-1 draw.

After a goalless first half, Charmain Martin-Evans broke the deadlock for the Reds in the 49th minute but Dragons centre-back Shannon Evans equalised just three minutes later.

Genero Adran South results:

Briton Ferry Llansawel 6-0 Cwmbran Celtic
Caldicot Town 2-3 Cascade
Coed Duon 1-1 Llanelli Town
