
Llandudno earned a statement 5-0 home win over JD Cymru North title rivals Airbus UK Broughton on Friday night.
Airbus were top of the table going into the game, a point ahead of Llandudno, but the Seasiders took the lead with just three minutes on the clock as Callum Stephens powered home a header from Anthony Stephens’ corner.
Harvey Bennett doubled the lead just after the half hour mark as he headed in Kieran Smith’s cross, before Airbus goalkeeper Keighan Jones was shown a straight red card four minutes later when he handled the ball outside of the box.
Llandudno took full advantage of having the extra man and scored twice early in the second half as Adam Stephens and Callum Stephens both scored from corners within the space of two minutes.
Callum Stephens would complete his hat-trick from the penalty spot in stoppage time, as Llandudno secured their biggest league win since February 2024 and handed Airbus their heaviest ever defeat in the JD Cymru North.

Victory took Llandudno to the top of the table, but Holywell Town then overtook them to reach the summit with a 6-0 home win over Brickfield Rangers on Saturday.
The Wellmen were in firm control at half-time thanks to three goals in a 10 minute spell – Craig Lindfield fired home from close range, Guto Williams netted his first goal for the club with a stunning volley from distance and Jamie Breese converted from the penalty spot following a foul on Lindfield.
Lindfield grabbed his second of the match with another clinical finish early in the second period before Danny Sullivan fired into the bottom corner on 67 minutes and Breese slotted home late on to seal Holywell’s biggest win of the season. .
Newtown moved just a point behind the top three with a narrow 2-1 away win over Gresford Athletic on Friday.
Robbie Evans gave Newtown the lead in the 25th minute with a diving header from Tom Jones’ cross, but Gresford levelled early just before the hour mark when Tom Smith slotted past Dave Jones.
Newtown’s winner came in the 71st minute when Ollie Sharp played through substitute Louis Jacobs, who marked his first appearance in over a month with a cool finish.

Holyhead Hotspur earned their first league win of the season with a dramatic 3-2 stoppage time victory at home against Denbigh Town on Saturday.
Connor Owen’s neat finish on the turn put Holyhead in front inside 16 minutes, but Denbigh were level just before half-time as Bobby Beaumont headed home from Nathan Brown’s corner.
Holyhead scored from a corner of their own three minutes into the second half when Tom Owen headed in from Jake Roberts’ delivery to restore the advantage, but Denbigh hit back once more as Alfie Vaughan met Sam Duffy’s low cross and drilled home on 66 minutes.
Just as it seemed the points would be shared at The New Oval, Holyhead veteran Kenleigh Owen raced through on goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time and made no mistake slotting past Luke Wilmot to earn a win that takes his side four points clear of the relegation zone.
Buckley Town returned to winning ways with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Caersws at The Globe on Saturday.
The Bucks took the lead in the 25th minute when Ben Guest placed his effort into the far corner from distance. Max McLaughlin slotted home a leveller for Caersws shortly on 41 minutes, but a spectacular bicycle kick from Liam Ellis immediately restored Buckley’s lead.
Connor Littler set up Aled Bellis to finish from the edge of the area for the hosts’ third goal just after the hour mark, but Caersws halved the deficit once again through Ashley Harries’ well-placed header soon after.
A frantic period continued as Littler headed home Adam Boydell’s corner on 71st minute, a goal which proved decisive for Buckley as Harry Cottam pulled another goal back for Caersws in stoppage time. It came too late to save the Bluebirds, who are now winless in 10 league games.
JD Cymru North
Guilsfield continued their bright home form with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Flint Mountain at Clos Mytton on Saturday.
Mountain defender Danny Reid attempted to clear Chris Cathrall’s header, but he could only divert the ball into his own net as the Guils went ahead inside eight minutes.
Gavin Allen’s side put the game to bed in the second half as Adam Hailes scored his first league goal for the club from the edge of the area before Sam Flory tapped home from Iwan Matthews’ square ball.
Rhyl 1879 earned their first league win since August by triumphing 3-1 at home against bottom-of-the-table Penrhyncoch on Saturday.
Jack Parry opened the scoring after just two minutes as he latched onto Damase Kiwanda’s defence-splitting pass and fired past Leigh Jenkins, before he doubled the advantage 10 minutes later after this time being played through by Tom Kemp.
Parry had the chance to complete a hat-trick inside 18 minutes when he was brought down in the box by Jenkins, but the Penrhyncoch goalkeeper denied the teenager from the penalty spot.
A third goal for Rhyl did arrive nine minutes into the second half as Lewis Hodson sent a powerful effort into the roof of the net for his first goal since March. That sealed victory but the Lilywhites were denied a clean sheet in stoppage time as Niall Coleridge bagged a consolation for the Roosters, who are now the only team in the division yet to win this season.
Mold Alexandra secured a third straight away win as Lucas Gregson’s late goal sealed a narrow 1-0 victory over Ruthin Town at the Memorial Playing Fields on Friday.
Despite the crossbar being hit three times, the contest was goalless until the 82nd minute when Gregson’s back post finish finally gave Mold the advantage.
