Cardiff Met earned their first win of the season by triumphing 3-1 over Swansea City at Cyncoed Campus on Sunday evening.
Ingrid Ådland opened the scoring for the Archers in the first half with her fourth goal of the season, while Ellie Preece’s precise finish doubled the lead soon after the break.
The Swans threatened a comeback in the final 10 minutes when captain Katy Hosford finished from close range, but Met’s own skipper Erin Murray secured the three points for her side in stoppage time.

Reigning champions Cardiff City maintained their unbeaten record with a 3-1 home win over The New Saints, who lost for the first time this season.
Eliza Collie’s opener and a stunning strike from summer signing Molly Kehoe gave the Bluebirds a 2-0 half-time lead, before Chantelle Teare halved the deficit in the 54th minute. But City wrapped up the win in stoppage time when Collie grabbed her second.
