The Cymru Football Foundation can confirm that Kelly Davies will step down from her role as Chair of Trustees following four years of dedicated leadership and service to football communities across Wales.
Since taking the position when the CFF was founded in 2022, Kelly has played a pivotal role in supporting our mission to improve football facilities and create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy the game in a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
During her tenure, the CFF has invested over £25million into grassroots football infrastructure across Cymru – helping clubs, local authorities and community organisations develop facilities that bring our communities closer to the game.
The Board of Trustees has thanked Kelly for her outstanding contribution to the organisation, her unwavering commitment to her role and her dedication to ensuring that high-quality facilities are prioritised in communities that need them most.
Reflecting on her time as Chair, Kelly said:
“It’s been a privilege to serve as the Chair of the Cymru Football Foundation and to witness first-hand the incredible impact that investment in facilities can have on communities across Cymru.
“I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together and would like to thank my fellow Trustees, partners and the CFF team for their commitment, support and dedication throughout my time as Chair. Diolch yn fawr.”

Kelly will remain involved as a key part of the CFF’s sub-committee group and will support a smooth transition process, with a new Chair to be announced in the coming days.
