The Cymru Football Foundation and Andco Studio have agreed a four-year partnership that will help ensure the grassroots game in Wales engages its target demographics, whilst new and upgraded facilities are branded to the highest standard.
Through this partnership, Andco Studio, who have worked on several established football brands, will develop a strong and recognisable visual identity for the Cymru Football Foundation (CFF), ensuring brand consistency across all CFF communications and funded projects in Wales whilst also strengthening the visibility of the CFF and Andco Studio as design partner.
The partnership will also enable money to be reinvested to grassroots football where Andco – as sole design provider – will be able to support clubs for facility or equipment upgrades.
With significant funding from Football Association of Wales, UK Government and the Premier League, the CFF are investing and developing football facilities that are inspiring communities across the country. With a dedicated design partner, the CFF’s facilities will have a consistent look and feel, communicating our organisational values, celebrating heroes of the game, and engaging directly with local communities.
Football is the largest participation team sport in Wales. With 811 registered clubs, 103,000 registered players and over 20,000 volunteers working in the game. It delivers over £550m social, economic and health benefits, but it suffers from the biggest resource shortfall and poorest quality facilities.
The CFF is a charity inspiring, inclusive, and accessible football spaces that transform lives, strengthen communities, and shape a healthier, more connected nation.
Andco will support this with the development of a brand for the CFF, ensuring it enables the CFF to communicate and engage with its key stakeholders.
It will also develop several sub-brands to represent the CFF’s various projects and programmes, including its “Environments For Her” programme that ensures inclusivity across CFF-funded facilities.
Andco will work with signage partners to roll out the various CFF brands across each project, ensuring each site’s visitors feel a strong connection to their facility.

Michael Kitchin, Managing Director at Andco Studio said:
“This partnership represents more than design, it’s about ensuring that every club, facility and player across Wales feels seen, supported and inspired.
“We’re proud to help the Cymru Football Foundation bring a consistent, user-led identity to community facilities, while reinvesting design value directly back into football where it’s needed most.
“We look forward to working closely with the CFF team to make a lasting impact across the Welsh football community.”
