The Cymru Football Foundation has been nominated in two categories at this year’s Welsh Sports Association Sports Industry Awards.
The CFF’s Sustainability Fund has been shortlisted for the Best Sustainability Initiative whilst a Fit-For-Future Facilities Fund project in partnership with Cricket Wales and Welsh Government has been shortlisted for the Best Collaboration Initiative.
Through our Sustainability Fund, the CFF has already supported football clubs, local authorities and charitable organisations through investing over £300,000 into over 20 sustainability initiatives across Wales – reducing emissions by 50 carbon tonnes in the process.
The CFF has also been working closely with partners to invest into Fit-For-Future Facilities across Wales. Through an innovative partnership with Cricket Wales and Welsh Government, a total of over £650,000 has been invested to support the development of a new clubhouse facility at Ponthir Sports and Community Club.
The winners will be decided at the awards evening on Thursday 6th June 2024.
