Participants

The McDonald’s Fun Football programme encourages fun, playfulness and friendships which creates the perfect first opportunity for children to play football.

This recreational ‘turn-up and play’ programme, for those aged 5-11, focuses on skill development through creative football practice in a safe and enjoyable environment. 

With all FAW providers being verified, the FAW qualified coaches will put on fun and engaging sessions for your child to fall in love with the game.

Providers

Applications are now open to become a FAW McDonald’s Fun Football provider for the 2025/2026 season.

Being an affiliated Fun Football Provider demonstrates to participants, parents, sponsors and the general public that your club or organisation operates within a regulated environment, providing opportunities for all. 

To become a Fun Football Provider, clubs must have the ‘Standard’ FAW accreditation (or above). Other organisations must meet the minimum criteria listed on the information document.

Fun Football Providers receive a range of support including branded equipment, bespoke training and education vouchers for coaches and staff, digital resources and more. The FAW will also provide a specific contact to support with enquiries.

Applications to become a Fun Football Provider for the 2025/2026 season will close on Friday 8th August.
