A Guide for Match Officials
It is important that Match Officials are aware of their responsibilities when a discriminatory incident takes place during a match. If the occasion arises that the Match Official witnesses or have been notified of discriminatory behaviour, they are expected to act in accordance with the Laws of the Game and have a responsibility to challenge and report any incidents.
Some people do not feel confident in recognising discrimination and responding to discrimination. This guide provides support for Match Officials to be able to recognise, respond to and report discrimination in football.
