Cymru squad announced for final EURO 2024 qualifiers

Rob Page has announced his squad of 23 players for Cymru’s key UEFA EURO 2024 qualifiers, where his side will face Armenia in Yerevan (Saturday 18 November) and Türkiye at the Cardiff City Stadium (Tuesday 21 November).

Brennan Johnson returns to the squad having missed out on the October camp due to injury, while Niall Huggins receives his first senior team call-up, having last represented Cymru at U21 level in 2021. Joe Morrell returns to the squad having missed the previous two qualifiers through suspension, while captain Aaron Ramsey is unavailable due to injury.

Two wins will guarantee Cymru’s qualification to the EURO 2024 finals in Germany next summer. Cymru will hope to build on last month’s 2-1 win against the group’s top seeds Croatia when they travel to Yerevan to face Armenia, where an away win would set up a potential grand finale at a sold-out Cardiff City Stadium against the already qualified Türkiye. Cymru, Croatia and Armenia are all competing for the final qualifying spot in the group.
