Applications are now open to become a FAW McDonald’s Fun Football Provider for the 2024/25 Season.
Fun Football is a programme for boys and girls aged 5-11, supporting clubs and organisations to create an informal introduction to football offer. With the emphasis of the sessions placed on ‘turn-up and play’ and ‘skill development through creative football practice’, the term Fun Football is recognised by UEFA and placed as a grassroots development initiative.
The aim of the programme is to increase regular participation of boys and girls in a safe, enjoyable and productive environment. By being a provider, the affiliation provides quality assurance, demonstrating to participants, parents, sponsors and the general public, that the club or organisation operates within a regulated environment, offering an opportunity for all.
With the FAW & McDonald’s operating this programme since 2002, this is certainly an opportunity not to be missed!
