The New Saints and Caernarfon Town will compete in the 2026 FAW Youth Cup Final following semi-final victories on Sunday afternoon.
The Cofis, runners-up in last season’s competition, were first to do so with a 3-1 win over Barry Town United at Cardiff International Sports Stadium.
Charlie Griffith was the star of the show in the capital, as he scored twice in the space of five minutes to put Caernarfon 2-0 ahead by the half hour mark.
Barry substitute Joseff Bourner pulled a goal back for his side on 82 minutes, but Griffiths turned provider for Osian Ellis to seal victory for the Cofis in stoppage time.

The New Saints, winners of the FAW Youth Cup in 2022 and 2023, booked their spot in the Final with a 3-1 win against Cardiff Met at Park Hall.
The Saints took the lead inside just three minutes as Ellis McCue found the net, while Brodie Summers doubled the advantage from the penalty spot early in the second half. Met were awarded two penalties themselves soon after, but remarkably both were missed first Harrison Matthews and then captain Oli Good.
The Archers did eventually pull a goal back in the 70th minute through Josh Stephens, but TNS sealed victory in stoppage time through Summers – who was then sent off after being shown a second yellow card for taking his shirt off in celebration.
The New Saints and Caernarfon Town will meet in the FAW Youth Cup Final on Sunday 5 April, with a neutral venue to be confirmed in due course.
