Cymru’s 2026/27 UEFA Nations League opening match against Portugal on Thursday 24 September will take place at Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon (KO 7:45pm).
The venue holds 52,000 spectators and is the home of Sporting Lisbon. The Cymru Men’s National Team last faced Portugal in the UEFA EURO 2016 semi-finals.
The match will mark the start of the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League campaign, where Cymru have been drawn in League A Group 4 alongside Portugal, Denmark and Norway.
