The FAW Welsh Cup Second Qualifying Round tie between Evans & Williams and Port Talbot Town has been selected for live broadcast on Cymru Football TV.
The tie, which takes place at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli, will now kick-off at 19:45 on Saturday 22 August and will be free to watch on the FAW’s new streaming platform.
Evans & Williams, who finished fourth in the Ardal South West last season, were 5-2 winners over AFC Penrhiwceiber in the previous round as Will Evans starred with two goals and two assists.
Port Talbot Town reached the FAW Welsh Cup Final in 2010, conceding in stoppage time to lose 3-2 against Bangor City – just down the road from Stebonheath at Parc y Scarlets.
The Steelmen have endured a difficult period since then, but are now back in the third tier, alongside Evans & Williams in the Ardal South West, following promotion last season. Richie Ryan’s side triumphed 2-0 over Blaen-y-Maes in the First Qualifying Round.
