The Football Association of Wales is proud to support Show Racism the Red Card’s Month of Action 2026, bringing together clubs, players, coaches, officials and supporters from across Welsh football to stand united against racism and discrimination.
Throughout October, the Month of Action will be supported across the Welsh football pyramid, from the Cymru national teams through to clubs competing in the Novira Cymru Leagues and Genero Adran Leagues, to our grassroots game.
Cymru national teams
The Cymru national teams will show their support for Show Racism the Red Card during October, with dedicated Month of Action activity taking place at:
- Cymru Men – 4 October (v Denmark), Cardiff City Stadium
- Cymru U21 – 6 October (v Austria), The Oval, Caernarfon
- Cymru Women – 13 October (v Albania), Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli
These fixtures provide an important platform to highlight the campaign and reinforce the message that racism and discrimination have no place in Welsh football or wider society.

Genero Adran Leagues – 25 October
Clubs across the Adran Leagues will come together on 25 October to support the Month of Action.
Players, clubs, officials and supporters will use the weekend to demonstrate Welsh football’s collective commitment to challenging racism and creating a game where everyone feels safe, welcome and respected.
Novira Cymru Leagues – 30-31 October
The Month of Action will continue across the Cymru Leagues at the end of October.
Cymru Premier Clubs will show their support during fixtures taking place on 30 October, while clubs across the Cymru North and Cymru South will take part across 30 and 31 October.
The dedicated league weekend will provide Clubs across Wales with an opportunity to stand together and use the profile of football to deliver a clear and united message against racism.
Racism continues to occur within football and communities across Wales. That is why it remains vital that players, coaches, supporters, parents, guardians, volunteers, match officials, clubs and governing bodies continue to challenge racism whenever they encounter it.

Celebrating 30 Years of Show Racism the Red Card
2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Show Racism the Red Card. For three decades, the charity has worked to challenge racism through education, campaigning and awareness-raising, using the profile and power of football to help change attitudes and encourage people to take action.
The Month of Action gives the Welsh football family an opportunity to demonstrate its collective commitment to those values.
