Venue confirmed for Norway World Cup play-off final second leg

Cymru’s 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup play-off final second leg match against Norway on Saturday 5 December will take place at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo (KO 4pm GMT / 5pm CET).

The Ullevaal Stadion is the largest football stadium in Norway and is the official home ground for both the Women and Men’s Norway National Teams.

After successfully beating Albania over two legs in round one of the play-off stage, Rhian Wilkinson’s side will face Norway in a two-leg play-off final with the first leg taking place at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday 1 December (KO 7:15pm).

Should Wilkinson’s side be successful across the two-leg play-off final, and among the top seven highest-ranked Round 2 winners, they will automatically qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in Brazil next summer.

However, if Cymru are successful and are the eighth ranked Round 2 winner, they will progress to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Inter-Confederation Play-Offs in February 2027 for one final opportunity to qualify. A full explanation of the process is available here.

Ticket information for the away leg will be announced in due course. Tickets for the clash in Cardiff are available to buy on the FAW ticketing website.

Both matches will also be shown live on BBC Wales.
