Admiral and the Football Association of Wales are proud to announce the extension of the Ready to Play programme.

Admiral are passionate about empowering girls through football and impacting communities in Wales. The Ready to Play programme gives nominated girls’ teams across Wales £200 vouchers to invest in new equipment, allowing girls to play football without limits.

Each week a team shares their story of their local community club. Visit here to find out more about our girls’ teams across Wales who have been nominated to take part in Admiral’s Ready to Play programme.

Lorna Connelly, Head of People at Admiral, said: “We’re really excited to be continuing our partnership and support of Ready to Play with the Football Association of Wales. The impact that girls and women’s football has on strengthening local communities is great to see, and we’re really proud to support its continued growth across Wales.”

Over the past year, clubs all across Wales have benefitted from the £200 to invest in equipment and Borras Park Albion said: “The girls were very excited about their new equipment, particularly the subs bench and we really appreciate the support from Admiral’s Ready to Play programme.”

Sharon Tuff, FAW Chief Commercial and Engagement Officer, added: “We’d like to thank Admiral for their support over the last year in helping us to empower girls in communities across Wales. It is crucial that girls have access to equipment to allow them to pursue their passions to play football.

“Girls that play football become women that lead, and we are delighted to be continuing and growing our partnership with Admiral over the coming years”.
