Cardiff City and Briton Ferry Llansawel will battle it out in the 2023 FAW Women’s Cup final on Sunday, while Barry Town United and Abergavenny meet in the 2023 FAW Girls’ Cup final later that day. Here is everything you need to know ahead of the finals…

Where are the finals taking place?

Both finals will take place at Penydarren Park – the home of Merthyr Town.

What time are the kick-offs?

Cardiff City and Briton Ferry Llansawel will get the action under way in the FAW Women’s Cup final at 12:45pm, while the FAW Girls’ Cup final will kick off at 5:30pm.

How much is admission?

Tickets can be purchased online in advance at for the following prices (one ticket covers both matches):

Adults – £5
Concessions – £2

Tickets purchased online in advance will be available to pick up on the gate by the turnstiles.

Tickets can also be purchased on the gate for the following prices (one ticket covers both matches):

Adults – £7
Concessions – £4

Supporters wearing club colours can purchase tickets for the online rates on the gate.

All spectators can pay on entry using cash or card.

Where can I park?

Matchday parking for the general public is not available at the stadium. Parking can be accessed via Castle Street Car Park and is a short walk away from Penydarren Park.

Can I pick up a souvenir?

Match cards will be available to pick up for free at both finals, providing you with a rundown on the teams and a place to get signatures from the players after the matches.

Are the matches televised?

The FAW Women’s Cup final will be shown live on S4C, Sgorio’s digital platforms, BBC iPlayer and S4C Clic.
