- The European stage awaits Caernarfon
Caernarfon Town made history at Rodney Parade as they claimed the JD Welsh Cup for the first time with a commanding 3-0 victory over Flint Town United.
The Cofis produced a blistering start to the final, taking control inside the opening 20 minutes with three decisive goals. Sion Bradley opened the scoring on seven minutes, showing composure to finish after a perfectly weighted through ball split the Flint defence.
Matty Jones doubled the advantage shortly after with a superb free-kick that struck the post on its way in, before Adrian Cieslewicz added a third on 17 minutes, heading home from close range following a well-worked set-piece to put Caernarfon firmly in control.
Flint Town United struggled to recover from the early setback but did create moments of their own, with Connor Roberts producing a key save to deny Michael Burke. At the other end, Jack Flint was called into action on several occasions to prevent the scoreline from becoming more emphatic, notably tipping another Jones free-kick onto the crossbar.

The second half saw a more competitive display from Flint, who briefly had the ball in the net only for the effort to be ruled out for offside. However, Caernarfon remained composed and continued to manage the game effectively, limiting clear opportunities and maintaining their three-goal advantage.
At the final whistle, Caernarfon Town were able to celebrate a landmark achievement, securing a memorable and deserved triumph to lift Welsh football’s most historic trophy.
