The Football Association of Wales (FAW) is celebrating its 150th anniversary, and we want you to be part of the celebration.
Our ‘Share Your Story’ campaign invites anyone connected to Welsh football to tell us about their first or favourite memory of the game. Whether you’ve played, coached, volunteered, supported from the stands, or simply love Welsh football, we want to hear from you.
Taking part is simple. Choose a photo of yourself or one you’ve taken and share the story behind it. It might be a picture from your first Cymru game, a moment with one of your Welsh football heroes, a memory from watching Cymru at the UEFA European Championships or the FIFA World Cup.
This isn’t just about our national teams either. You may have moved to Wales and developed a passion for our domestic or grassroots game.
You can share memories of supporting our national sides, following or getting involved in the domestic game, including the JD Cymru Leagues, Genero Adran Leagues and Ardal Leagues, or being part of the grassroots football community across Wales.
Maybe you’re a player who has lifted a trophy, a coach proud to have helped develop the stars of the future, or a supporter who follows your local club every week. Fans of the domestic game also have the chance to see their teams compete on the European stage, with clubs from the Genero Adran Premier and the JD Cymru Premier regularly representing Wales in UEFA competitions. So, where has Welsh football taken you?
Whatever your connection to Welsh football, your story is part of the FAW’s history.
