Cardiff Met and Llandudno round off the FAW Women’s Cup quarter-final ties this weekend as the pair meet at Cyncoed Campus.
The 2021/22 FAW Women’ Cup runners-up Met have enjoyed plenty of success in this competition in recent seasons and will look to take a step closer to lifting the trophy for a fourth time.
Llandudno, who got their hands on a piece of silverware last season after being crowned inaugural Genero Adran North champions, were comfortably beaten by the Archers when the pair met in the Genero Adran Trophy last term.
The winner of the clash will set up a semi-final tie with Genero Adran Premier leaders Cardiff City in February. The Bluebirds overcame fellow top flight side Abergavenny to seal their place in the last four, with six different goalscorers on the scoresheet in a 6-0 victory for Iain Darbyshire’s side.
Fellow Genero Adran Premier side Aberystwyth Town have also already secured their place in the semi-finals following a 3-1 win over Wrexham. Emily Thomas scored a hat-trick to seal the win for Gavin Allen’s side, who were eliminated at the first-round stage of the competition last season.
The Seasiders will face Briton Ferry Llansawel in the last four following their 5-1 win over tier three side Cardiff Wanderers in December. Lowri Baker, Lucy Powell, Ela Roberts, Lowri Ridings and Olivia Townsend were on target for the Ferry, who sit second in the Genero Adran South table.
