Carol Bell honoured by Gorsedd Cymru at Eisteddfod

Carol Bell, an FAW Independent Non-Executive Director, has been honoured by Gorsedd Cymru at the Rhondda Cynon Taff National Eisteddfod and has become an Honorary Druid.

These honours are presented annually and recognise individuals from all parts of the country for their achievements and their commitment to Wales, the language and communities across the whole of Wales. 

Carol Bell grew up in Felindre and specialises in energy, finance, business and charitable activities. She is Vice-President of Amgueddfa Cymru and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Millennium Centre. 

Carol was the first woman on the Board of the FAW and is the Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and was instrumental in the review and implementation of the FAW’s organisational structure, having chaired the ‘A Sustainable Association for the Future’ steering group. The governance changes have been essential towards the ongoing delivery of Our Wales – The FAW’s 2021-2026 Strategic Plan for Welsh Football
