This summer will see Women & Girls’ football at the forefront across the world, with the FIFA Women’s’ World Cup kicking off on Thursday 20th July.
The FAW are excited to share Creating your Environment: FOR HER workshop dates for Summer 2023.
As women’s football will have enormous exposure across the Summer, more girls and women across the world will be excited by the opportunity of getting out on the pitch, many for the first time. To support clubs and facilities across Wales in inviting more women and girls into their environments the FAW will be hosting “Creating your Environment: FOR HER” workshops, focusing on making your facilities inclusive, on pitch considerations and creating a long-lasting club culture for all.
During these workshops the FAW will work with each club or facility to create an action plan which will enable women and girls to feel fully welcomed within the environment.
Whether you are starting women’s & girls’ football for the first time, or want to expand on your offering these workshops are built to give you the tips to support all women & girls within your environment.
The four workshops will take place across the following dates:
- Colliers Park, Wrexham – Thursday 27th July 6-8PM
- Online – Wednesday 2nd August 6-8PM
- Dragon Park, Newport – Wednesday 9th August 6-8PM
- Online – Tuesday 15th August 6-8PM
