Cymru U21 squad announced for Iceland

Matty Jones has announced his Cymru U21 squad for the 2025 UEFA U21 EURO qualifier against Iceland.

Jones, who recently signed a two-year contract extension until 2028, has named a 20-player squad for Cymru’s penultimate game of the qualifying campaign, which takes place at Víkingsvöllur on Tuesday 10 September (5:30pm KO).

Fin Stevens and Charlie Crew both made their senior debuts against Gibraltar in June and are included in the under 21s squad.

Matt Baker was also named in the senior squad in the last international window and has been called up by Jones for the trip to Reykjavík.

They are joined in the squad by Joe Low, Charlie Savage and Rubin Colwill, who have a combined 14 senior appearances between them.

Cymru sit second in Group I after earning three wins and two draws so far in the qualifying campaign, with their only defeat coming against top seeds and current group leaders Denmark.
