
The 2025/26 UEFA Women’s Under 17 and Under 19 Championship Round 1 draws took place today in Nyon, Switzerland.
Under 17 draw
Cymru WU17, who were in Pot 1 in League B, were placed in Group B1 with Kosovo, Moldova, Azerbaijan. The mini-tournament hosts will be confirmed in due course.
The teams in League B will play for promotion to League A in six groups, with the group winners and the best runner-up being promoted.
League A round 2, which will be drawn on 11 December and will be completed by ahead of the 25 March finals draw, will decide the seven teams joining hosts Northern Ireland in the tournament.
Under 19 draw
Cymru WU19, who were in Pot 2 in League A, were placed in Group A7 with France, Finland and Türkiye. Cymru will host the mini-tournament between November and December 2025.
The teams were drawn into seven groups; from these single-venue mini-tournaments, the teams finishing fourth will be relegated to League B for 2025/26 round 2, with the other positions deciding seeding for League A in that round.
League A round 2, which will be drawn on 11 December and played in spring, will decide the seven teams joining Bosnia and Herzegovina in the finals draw on 22 April. The final tournament is played from 27 June to 10 July 2026.
